At The Peter Maurin Center, we understand that dignity begins with the basics. Our Clothing and Hygiene Distribution programs ensure that neighbors in need have access to the essentials—warm clothing, seasonal gear, and personal care supplies—that safeguard health, restore confidence, and bring comfort in difficult times.
Clothing Our Community With Care
When: Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, 11 AM – 12:30 PM (based on volunteer availability)
Where: Peter Maurin Center, 1096 Old S. Main Street, Akron

Essential Care for Health and Dignity

Good hygiene is about more than cleanliness—it’s about confidence, health, and respect. Through our Hygiene Distribution program, we provide personal care items that many in our community struggle to afford or access.
